In this grade, we have been listening carefully to a Christmas carol, "All I want for Christmas is you" to fill in the gaps in the lyrics of the song. Then we have tried to sing it.
Also we have read different texts about how English-speaking countries celebrate Christmas.
Se han esforzado para cantar el super famoso villancico de Mariah Carey pero es complicado llegar al registro vocal de ella. Nos hemos reído bastante en el intento y con eso nos quedamos.

En el festival de Navidad de este año, los alumnos de 4º A y B han cantado y representado el villancico "Santa Claus is coming to town" bajo la dirección del maestro Miguel Ángel. Pinchando en el enlace podréis ver un trozo del mismo que se representó en el colegio el día 21 de diciembre, para el alumnado que no pudo asistir al festival.

Este pasado Halloween hemos realizado, como todos los cursos, una serie de actividades para conocer, recordar y ampliar aspectos socioculturales más significativos relativos a las costumbres en países donde se habla la lengua inglesa.
Se ha hablado de como las familias celebran esta festividad y los mayores han leído un texto sobre el tema y han hecho un crucigrama con vocabulario referente al mismo. Los más pequeños han escuchado canciones típicas y han pintado pulseras terroríficas (educación infantil), y han coloreado fantasmas y calabazas a la vez que repasaban los números los alumnos de 1º y 2º EP.

Los alumnos de 5º de Educación Primaria van a finalizar el curso explicando a sus propios compañeros la gramática de la última unidad didáctica. Han explicado el uso de los verbos GO, DO y PLAY seguidos de actividades deportivas, han puesto ejemplos y han realizado algún ejercicio oral pidiendo la colaboración de sus compañeros, que en esa situación eran sus alumnos.
La nueva experiencia creo que ha sido bastante gratificante y les ha gustado tanto a los que se estrenaban como docentes como los que seguían como alumnado. Es cierto que algunos han estado muy nerviosos pero es de valorar su esfuerzo y sus ganas de superarse.

Should and must are modals verbs.
We use must in sentences to give orders when there is no option because it is something you have to do or if we want to tell someone not to do something, we can use it in the negative form:
must not or mustn´t
For example:
You must do your homework
You mustn´t use your mobile phone in class
We use should in sentences to give advice or suggestions or basically to tell someone what would be good in a situation or if we want to tell someone what wouldn´t be good in a situation we can use it in negative form
should not or shouldn´t
For example:
You should eat healthy foods, you shouldn´t eat sweets.
