Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

In the next video, you can see how you can make a skeleton and a pumpkin with a big, big mouth. It is very easy.

And in the next two videos, you can make skeletons, pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, ...

Now, if you have at home some materials to prepare your Halloween craft, you can do it. When you come back to school, bring it and give it to me. I will take a photo and I will publish it in the blog. Or you can take the photo at home and send it to me by EducamosCLM.

Are you ready?

I expect your photos or your crafts  next week.

Healthy and delicious pumpkin soup

Now, what can we do with so many pumpkins?

What do you think if we make  pumpkin soup? This is a healthy and delicious recipe. Cooking this recipe is very easy but you have to be careful with your fingers and the knife because the pumpkin is very hard to cut.

Do you know to cook pumpkin soup?
In these videos, you can learn to cook it with Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger in Sesame Street and with Chef Panda.

Halloween

Halloween is on 31st October. On Halloween night in the USA, a lot of families put a jack-o-lantern in a window in their house. They make the lantern from a pumpkin.

Some families grow their pumpkin. They plant pumpkin seeds in the spring, and they water them and watch them grow into a pumpkin plant. In the summer, the pumpkins are small and green, but they grow bigger and bigger. In the autumn, they are very big and bright orange. You can cook the pumpkin to make a pumpkin pie, but the biggest pumpkin is ready to be a jack-o-lantern!.
