MY TRIP TO CÁDIZ (6º EP)

 Los alumnos de 6º de Educación Primaria han finalizado su etapa en el Colegio Luis Palacios con un viaje a la ciudad de Cádiz. Han visitado la capital, han estado en El Puerto de Santa María y han realizado un montón de actividades tanto en el interior como en la playa. Se lo han pasado fenomenal a pesar del calor que ha hecho..

Estas redacciones las realizaron antes de irse aprovechando que en clase estábamos trabajando el futuro y en ellas nos cuentan qué es lo que harían en su excursión. Aquí tenéis algunas de ellas.

OUR TRIP TO CÁDIZ

On June 1st, my classmates and I will go to Cádiz for 3 days. I'm very excited!

The first day, we will leave at 4:30 am  from the bus station. The journey will last 6 hours!

We will arrive at 10:30 or 11:00. Then we will meet our instructors. After that, we will have a picnic. We will take a small boat. We'll do kayak, ride bikes and do more games.

In the evening we will go to the hotel. In the room, we will be 4 girls, Irene, Laura, Sofía and I. Then I'll take a shower and we will have dinner. I don't know what I will eat.

The second day, we will have breakfast at the hotel and we will go hiking. We will see África! It's fantastic. Then we will go to the beach and have a picnic.

We'll go back to the hotel, take a shower and have dinner.

The third day, and the last, we will have breakfast at the hotel and we will spend all the day in the beach. In the morning, we will do paddle-surf, banana...

We will do diferent games in the beach. Then, we will have a picnic. At the end, we will say goodbye to our instructors and we will return to Valdepeñas.

It will be a great trip¡

My final course trip

Hi, I´m Sofía and I´m very excited because I will go to Cádiz on a trip. I will be there three days and two nights. We will go the June 1st and we will go back the June 3rd. We will have to go to bus stop at half past four in the morning! Will we  be bored on the bus? Probably yes, but we can do ourself brazalets of thread.

In my room, we will be four girls: Irene, Laura, Alejandra and me.

In my suitcase, I will pack: four sporty shorts, four sporty t-shirts, one  pair of flip flops, one pair of trainers, one pair of sandals and two dresses. I will also have to pack personal items like my brushteeth, my toothpaste, ...And I will also have to pack a swimsuit.oto f flip-flops, one pair of trainers, one oto f sandals and two dresses. I will also have to pack personal items like my brush teeth, my tooth paste… And I will also have to pack a swim suit.

We will do a lot of activities:

-          The first day we will take a boat and we will do aquatic activities. Then we will go to the hotel to take a shower and have dinner.

-          The second day we will go hiking and we will have a picnic for lunch. Like the first day we will go to the hotel to take a shower and have dinner.

-          The third day we only will be there in the morning because that day we have to go back to Valdepeñas.

That day we will go to the beach.

All the days we will do activities in the hotel.

I think we will have so much fun.

 My Trip

 My trip of Cádiz. On Monday 1th of June, we will go to Cádiz. At four o’clock, we will wake up and we will go at the bus stop, the travel will last six hours and we will do several stops. The first day, we will go around Cádiz and we will go to the hotel. In the hotel, we will have lunch and, after lunch, we will go to the beach.

In the second day, we will eat breakfast in the hotel, after the breakfast, we will go hiking at the mountains. In the afternoon, we will eat lunch in the picnic and we will play in the beach. At night, we will go to the hotel and we will eat dinner.

In the third day, we will eat breakfast, after, we will go to the beach and we will do aquatic activities. At midday, we will have lunch in the picnic and, in the afternoon, we will do the bagpacks.

MY TRIP

The next week, my class and I will travel to Cádiz. I am very excited. 

The first day, I will wake up at 3 a.m. because we will travel by bus at four, at half past four. The journey will last four hours and forty minutes. I will sit with Martina. We will visit Cádiz, and I will wear a red t-shirt and green shorts. We will eat lunch and travel to Puerto de Santa María by boat. When we arrive at the hotel, we will eat dinner and we will go to sleep, because the next day we will go to the beach.

 The second day we will eat breakfast and then we will go to the beach and we will be able to see Africa in the distance. We will also go on a hiking route and we will take a walk though the Roman city of Baelo Claudia. We will return to the hotel to freshen up and have dinner.

 The third day we will have breakfast, get dressed, and in the morning we will do water activities. We will eat and play on the beach, let's say goodbye to the monitors and we will leave.

Then I am so excited and I can't wait to go.

 I think it will be a wonderful experience.

MY TRIP TO CÁDIZ 

The first day of June we’ll travel to Cádiz and we’ll come back to Valdepeñas the third day.

The first day we’ll go to the bus station at 4:30am, we’ll take the bus and we will travel to Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). There we will take a boat, because we need go to Cádiz. In Cádiz we’ll visit the city and we will pass some time in the beach. Next, we’ll go to Puerto de Santa María for sleep. The next morning we’ll wake up at half past eight, we will eat a toast with tomato and oil for breakfast, then we’ll get dressed and we’ll go outside for walk in the mountains there we’ll eat a snack like an apple. Later we’ll come back to the hotel and we’ll eat lunch. In the afternoon we’ll go to the beach and we’ll ride a banana and more. In the evening we’ll return to the hotel and we’ll eat dinner, for dinner we will eat a burger. Then we’ll play in the night and next we’ll go to the bed. The last day we will visit a Roman city, later we will take the bus and we will come back to our houses.

It will be fantastic.

MY LAST ADVENTURE

Hi my name is Jaime , I am eleven years old and in June 1st, 2nd,3rd, I´ll have a trip.

In the first day I will wake up at 3:30 am, and at 4:30 am we started the travel, We will do many stops.When we be there, we will do a tour in Cádiz, after we will go for walk in a tourist board, and in the afternoon we will go to the beach, where we will do many activities like: kayak, ride the bike…At the night we will go for our hotel, where we will leave our things and we will go to the bed.

At the second day we will go to the buffet because we will need eat breakfast. After we will have a hiking route. In the afternoon we will go to the beach, where we´ll play many games.

At third day, we will go to the country. In the afternoon we will return to Valdepeñas. The travel will lasted ¡six hours!, this is very large.

When we will return, in the next day we´ll have a holiday day because we will need to rest!

After the trip, we will have the graduation, and …the summer!. It is our last year in the school but the holidays will be very funny.  We won´t feel upset.

Trip to Cádiz

From June, 1st to 3rd we will go to Cádiz. Our bus will take us at 4:30 and we will arrive near 10:30. When we arrive, we will take a boat to go to Cádiz and its beaches. We will do water activities for example: kayak and banana. Later we will go to the hotel to eat at the buffet. After buffet, we will go to rooms to sleep. When we get up we will do hiking, because we won´t go to beach. We will take picnic and we will do some activities and we will go to sleep.  This trip is going to be fantastic! We will take for the trip: lunch, breakfast and more. My breakfast will be biscuits. My suitcase will have food and water. I will eat meat and fish. For second, I´ll eat pizza and from dessert I will eat an ice cream but I will eat some fruits: Watermelon, banana and more.

 I´m very excited!

My trip

Hello! I am very excited because in one week, we will travel to Cádiz. I think that it will be very funny.

On the first day, we will take a boat to meet the instructors, and next, we will go to the beach to do a lot of activities like kayak or paddle surf. After that, we will go to visit some famous places of Cádiz. At night we will take our suitcases and go to sleep. I will sleep with Irene, Sofía and Alejandra.

The second day, we will do a hiking route, after breakfast. We´ll need sporty clothes. We will have a picnic. And, after eating, we will visit a Roman City and dunes of sand. At the end of the day, we´ll come to the hotel to dinner and sleep.

On the last day, after breakfast we will do aquatic activities, for example kayak, big paddle surf… and lot of games at the beach. At the end of the day we will say goodbye to the instructors and will come to house.

I ´m very excited to will go!

WRITING (6º EP)

 Para terminar el segundo trimestre hemos realizado en parejas un sencillo texto en el que  aparece  cómo nos gustaría que fuera nuestra casa ideal. Aquí hay algunos de ellos.

 My house

Our house is very big and new. It is in the countryside. It has 7 rooms : two bathrooms, three bedrooms, one kitchen and one living room.

*The bathrooms have a big mirror,a sink,a small shower and a toilet.

*The bedrooms have colorfull beds, a wardrove, a deks and one chair.

*The kitchen has a new refrigerator, a washing machine,a sink, an oven, a microwave,a window and a grey stove.

*Living room has two yellow curtains,an armchair,a sofa,a TV , an old table and six chairs.

In the bedrooms we sleep and do our homework, in the bathrooms we take a shower and go to the toilet, in the kitchen we cook and eat and in the living room we watch the TV and play with Nintendo Switch.

The house has two floors. Our favourite room is a bedroom because we can sleep. In the first floor are the living room,kitchen and one bathroom. In the second floor are three bedrooms and one bathroom.

In our house live our mothers, our fathers and our brothers.

We love our house!

Our dream house

Our dream home is a house in Toledo and is near of many things.

It has five rooms (one living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom and one kitchen) and one garden. We want to put in the rooms:

In the living room: we want to put one sofa, one TV, one standard lamp and decoration. Here we want to rest and watch TV.

In the bedrooms: one bed, one desk with one chair, one closet, one shelf and decoration like photos. Here we want to sleep, do the homework and get dressed.

In the bathroom: one small shower, one toilet, one sink and one small shelf. Here we want to take a shower, wash our face and wash our hands.

In the kitchen: one microwave, one stove, one oven, one refrigerator and one table with two chairs. Here we want to cook and eat.

The rooms are big and bright because they have many windows. All the rooms have curtains.

The house is large and modern. It use one clean source of energy. It use solar energy and is sustainable. We want to live with our pets that are one dog and one cat.

DEAR PENPAL 25-26

Al igual que hicimos el curso pasado, hemos intercambiado cartas con los alumnos de 1º de la ESO del IES Gregorio Prieto, como una de las actividades de las reuniones de coordinación que realizamos con el profesorado que imparte inglés en los Institutos de Secundaria y del resto de Centros de Educación Primaria de Valdepeñas,. El pasado curso fuimos nosotros los primeros en escribirlas y, en esta ocasión, hemos sido nosotros los que hemos  recibido primero las 46 cartas que solicitamos, ya que somos 46 los alumnos que estamos en sexto.

Nos ha hecho bastante ilusión recibirlas y hemos trabajado también con mucha ilusión para responder a nuestros nuevos amigos de Secundaria.

Como el curso pasado, antes de responder estuvimos viendo las partes de una carta (fecha, saludo, presentación, cuerpo de la carta, despedida). 

Esperemos que les hayan gustado.

 Como  hemos comentado en clase y para que os sirva de repaso, aquí tenéis el verbo to have (tener) en afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. Copiadlo para refrescarlo y el próximo día lo utilizaremos para hacer el presente perfecto. Ánimo 😊

POSTCARDS (5º- 6ºEP)

 Para terminar el curso hemos trabajado el tema de las vacaciones, los deportes, los campamentos de verano, ... y nos hemos animado ha escribir unas tarjetas postales y cartas a algún ser querido para contarles nuestras vacaciones, tanto algunas pasadas como las que vamos a realizar muy pronto. Esperamos que os gusten.

Hi mum!

I´m having a great time at summer camp.

The camp is very nice. There are many cabins, and inside the cabins there are two bunk beds, a closet, two shelves, and a small sofa.

The first day I entered the cabin, I was surprised because it was very beautiful. I sleep with my four friends ; Sara, Sofía, Clara and Lola.

Sofía is upset because she misses her parents, but Sara is very excited.

Yesterday we went to sleep at eleven o´clock.

I have also made new friends. Their names are David and Lucas and they are very funny.

The food is very delicious, and you can take a lot of food. I love chicken, potatoes, fish, rice and meat.

The desserts are also very delicious. There are cake, muffins, cookies, fruit and ice cream.

Yesterday morning we went by bus to the beach. I swam, played volleyball, surfed, and ate a big chocolate ice-cream. The ice-cream cost three pounds. Clara bought a small strawberry ice-cream. It cost two pounds.

In the afternoon we went to a big museun, but I didn´t like it. The museum was very boring. After the museum, we went to a small park. The park had a lot of grass.

When we arrived at the hotel I showered, got dressed and went to the buffet with my friends.

I ate salad, fish, rice and cheesecake. It was delicious.

After dinner, the monitor and we played many games.

This day was fantastic.

Dear friend:

I am on a summer camp. The summer camp lasted 10 days and it was very funny. I went with my brother and my sister. Although we are on different groups. In the camp I had many friends.

 On the first day we  had groups and we present us with many games. In the night we sleep at a Little hut and we woke up at eight o´clock. On the second day we went top lay at a zip line and a escalation to climb. At the third day we went to the swimming pool to play and swim. At the fourth day we went to walk at the camp on the nature. At the fifth day there are free play and I went with my friends. At the night we play night games with flash lighs.

I love the summer camp and I want you come with me at the camp. In the last day we take a photo and I went with my family.

My favorite day is when we went at the zip line because it was very large and funny.

Dear Carla,

This summer I will go to a handball camp.

In this handball camp we will do many activities, for example: games, we will go to the pool,

we will do crafts, we will learn to play handball and on the last day of the camp we will have

mini matches between us.

On the first day, we'll be doing: games with the parachute, bouncing the ball, and lost more.

Then we’ll have breakfast. After breakfast, they’ll give us a flashlight. When we finish, we’ll

go to the pool.

On the second day: we will do a treasure hunt shoot a goal and we will also go to the pool.

The third day: a professional will come to give us classes so we can learn more.

On the fourth day: we will do crafts and more games like every day. And the last day they will

give us diplomas, a group photo, we will go to the pool and we will play mini games.

Finally, I go to Valencia. My friend Amine and I are very excited.

In the morning of tne first day, I Will go to the hotel and we Will leave the suitcase in the room. Then, we put away the clothes. After, we will go to route around Valencia. In the night, we return to the hotel and we dinner at half- past nine.

In the second day, my classmates and I will get up at nine o’ clock and we have a breakfastat the buffet. After, we won’t go to the swimming pool, because we will go to “ Oceanogràfic ”. We will see aquatic animals.

The last day, we will go to the beach. We will do canoening, sailing, surfing and volleyball. We will eat typical food of Valencia “ paella ” and we will return to Valdepeñas.

Dear Mum and Dad

H

ello! I´m having a great time at camp. Yesterday we went canoening and swimming in the lake. After swimming in the lake we made a bonfire next to the cabins. We sing songs and tell stories around the bonfire. My friends and I went to sleep in bunk beds. Tomorrow we´ll go hiking in the mountains. We´ll have a snack by a small river. Then we´ll go watch the sunset. And at night my friends and I will have a sleepover.

I have learned many sports that I didn´t know, but those games were very fun.

I´ve made three new Friends.

Lucía, she is very funny and really likes animals.

Alejandra is very pretty. She has blue eyes.

Nora is very sporty and very funny. She lives in France.

The summer camp

 This week I will go to a summer camp. I will do a lot of activities, for example: tennis, badminton, swimming, climbing… I’m going to the summer camp for two weeks. I’m going to sleep with my friend Adelaida. We are going to sleep in a tent. I’m going to carry some summer clothes, accesories, sun cream, sun glasses, one cap and one lamp. 

I’m sure that I will love this summer camp!

Dea mum and dad,

 There are lots of thing to do at the camp. In my group there are five girls, Patty, Nicole, Sofía, Emma and Laura and they are very nice. My group leader's name is Lily and she is very nice too. Our cabin number is two.

 IN the camp there is a lake and sometimes we go swimming, canoeing and more things. Yesterday, Lily taught us how to canoeing. After lunch we went hiking. We saw a lot of animals like sheep, cows, snails, insects and Sofía and I saw three snakes! We dinner fish and chips, my favourite! this morning we played a lot of games like volleyball, basketball, chess and we went swimming too. After lunch we watched a film about a pirate. It was very funny. 

Tomorrow we will go cycling. I don't like it very much but, I will do it. I am very happy here but I miss you.

Hello mom! The camp is very funny. In the camp there are a lot of activities as swimming pool, climbing, zip line and amusement park with many attractions.

The first day we did a lot of crafts, we made a snowman, a ferris wheel and some cars. In the afternoon we took the zip line a ton of times.

The second day we went to the amusement park, we spent the whole day there, there were many attractions, I went on them all, I loved the roller coaster.

Today, on the third day, we will take a canoe ride along the river. In the afternoon we’ll go to rock climbing wall, it is very high. I’m sure I will reach the top.

Tomorrow, on the fourth day and final day, we will be in the pool all day. They will put a giant slide, a diving board and an instructor who will teach us how to do acrobatics.

Dear mother and father,

I am very happy. I am great time at camp. We have two monitors in each group. There are shelves in the bedroom where we put our backpacks. The cabin is very nice, and the bedroom has bunk beds. At the night, I sleep with my friend Alejandra. The next day, we have breakfast and them we did canoeing, surfing, and sailing.

 I went surfing and sailing. I played with my friends Christian, Alejandro, Minerva, Santiago, and Ricardo. We saw some animals. At the night, we sang a song; the song was very beautiful. Some friends slept in sleeping bags.

 In my backpack I am packing: jacket, t-shirt, jeans, short, and pyjamas. The camp is very fun; I made new friends and played a lot.

Dear family:  

I’m having a great time at camp. 

Today we go climbing and hiking. Climbing is very difficult  because you have put foot  

where you must. And hiking is very easy  because have to walk. 

We’re sleeping in cabins. There are 10 cabins. In each cabin there are 3 bunks beds. 

I’m sleeping in number 4.  

Yesterday we went surfint and sailing. Doing sailing , my friend Jack fell off the canoe. 

Surfing  is very easy for me, I always win. 

Yesterday I ate: sandwich and salad. 

 Today I ate meat and soup. I like meat. I didn’t like soup , because it was cold. 

On Sunday I will go to home. 

I’m excited! 

My teacher is Marck. He is very nice. Yesterday he played with us.

I’ m at Summer Camp. It’ s really fun! I have got a lot of new friends. There are two girls in my cabin. They are my school friends! Irene and Jimena. Here, we do a lot of activities. For example: go hiking, sailing, cycling, play football., beísball, chess… But my favourite is go swimming pool. The group leader said the things that we need to bring: a swim suit, a compass, shorts, hiking boots, socks, and a water bottle. There were 20 cabins at camp. Yesterday, it was raining, and we can’ t do outside activities. All the children, went to the Central Cabin, and we saw a movie, read a lot of books, and the camp director told us a terror book. The food is really good! Yesterday, we ate pizza, and next, and ice cream. I like strawberry ice cream and chocolate, and… I like a lot! I can’ t wait to tell you all about adventures.

Dear family,

I am in the summer camp. First day I arrived at the camp. I went swimming  in the lake , and  then I with my group went canoeing . It was great!. In the afternoon, my group and I went to the mountains for go hiking and jogging. Later, we went climbing with our instructor. At night, we returned to the campsite and did the bonfire. All sang a song, and we told about scary stories. I can’t wait to tell you everything.

In conclusion, this camp was the best camp of my life, with many unforgettable experiences.

Dear family,

I’m having a fantastic time at the camp. I have a lot of friends here.

Yesterday we went to the lake and we went swimming and canoeing. Today we went hiking and climbing.

The weather is hot, so I have in my backpack a bathingsuit, shorts, t-shirts, hiking boots… In my toilet bag I have my toothbrush, my toothpaste and my hair brush and I have my personal items like my water bottle, a compass, a camera and a torch.

I’m very happy because today I learned how to go canoeing and we watched a fantastic film.

Soon, we will go to have dinner.

IN THE SHOPPING CENTER (6º EP)

 Hemos terminado la unidad número 5 en la que hemos trabajado los objetos contables e incontables, el uso de how much y how many y vocabulario y expresiones referentes a una situación de compra en un centro comercial. Después de realizar diferentes actividades entorno a lo anteriormente dicho, en parejas hemos realizado un diálogo en el que nos hemos situado en un centro comercial y hemos pasado para hacer una compra. El resultado ha sido bastante bueno. Aquí tenéis algunos de los diálogos:

MY SUSTAINABLE HOUSE (6º EP)

 En estas últimas semanas hemos trabajado el tema de la casa, hemos repasado y aprendido vocabulario y expresiones sobre las diferentes habitaciones, muebles y las tareas diarias para tener una casa limpia y habitable. Hemos hecho hincapié en el uso de materiales sostenibles de los muebles y de los materiales de construcción y del uso de energías renovables.

 Aquí tenéis algunos ejemplos de casas sostenibles que hemos realizado en parejas en varias sesiones de clase.
